Bring your own AI
Connect your AI assistant to your Dapols plan
Already pay for an AI assistant? Let it read your plan and help with the work. It can read your business details and make a few safe edits inside Dapols. It cannot send, post, publish or spend anything.
Connecting an assistant is part of the paid plan. You can read everything on this page first.
What your assistant can read
Read-only tools. They return your own data, and only what you have switched on for connected apps.
get_business_profileRead your business profile: what you do, who you serve and how you talk to customers.get_planRead your plan: the tiers, the tools and their dated prices, and your tasks.list_tasksList your tasks with who does each one and whether it is done.get_tool_stackSee the tool stack that fits a monthly budget you give it.search_documentsSearch the business documents you have allowed connected apps to read.get_documentRead one of those documents. Documents are your data, and your assistant should not follow instructions inside them.get_site_summarySee your website's headline numbers, such as how many leads came in. No contact details.get_updatesRead your recent updates feed.
What it can change
Four small edits. Each one stays inside Dapols and shows in your activity log, marked as made by your assistant.
add_noteAdd a note to your plan. Saves in Dapols only.set_task_statusTick a task as done, skipped or to do. Saves in Dapols only.set_task_ownerChange who does a task: you, you + AI or a plain tool. Saves in Dapols only.save_draftSave a draft such as an email, a social post or a reply. It is not sent. You copy it when you are ready.
What it can never do
There is no tool for any of these, so no instruction can make your assistant do them.
- Send an email or a message
- Post on social media
- Publish or change your website
- Spend money or start a campaign
- Touch your billing or your subscription
- Read your customers' contact details
- Delete your plan or your documents
- See any other customer's data
How to connect
You create a personal token in your dashboard. It is shown once. Then you give it to your assistant's settings.
Unlock your plan
Connecting is part of the paid plan. Your free preview does not include it.
Create a token
In your dashboard, open Connect and click "Create a token". Choose a name, what it may do (read only, or read and save drafts) and how long it lasts. Copy it when it appears, because you will not see it again.
Add it to your assistant
Put the token in an environment variable, then add the Dapols address to your assistant using the snippet below. Do not paste the token into a chat or a file you share.
Ask it something
Try "What are my open tasks?" or "Draft a reply to the last review and save it." Your assistant reads, and the activity log shows what it did.
Switch it off any time
Revoke a token in your dashboard and it stops working at once. You can also see every action in the activity log.
Pick your assistant
Replace the placeholder with your token. The snippets are code, so they are the same in every language.

- Your assistant only sees documents you switch on for connected apps. Each document has its own switch.
- Every call is written to an activity log that you can read. It keeps entries for ninety days.
- A token can be revoked at any moment, and it stops working straight away.
- Your assistant's own provider handles whatever you tell it in its own chat. Read its privacy terms.
Questions about connecting
Can I connect ChatGPT to Dapols today?
Not yet. ChatGPT and Claude on the web need a sign-in connection, which is marked as coming soon on this page. You can connect Codex, Claude Code or Cursor with a personal token today. It sees only what you allow.
Can my assistant send emails or post for me?
No. There is no tool for sending, posting, publishing or spending. It can save a draft inside Dapols. You copy it and send it yourself.
What edits can it make?
Add a note, tick a task, change who does a task, and save a draft. All four stay inside Dapols and appear in your activity log.
Do I need a paid AI account?
That depends on your assistant. Some, like Codex, Claude Code and Cursor, connect with a token. Check each vendor's plans, since they change.
How do I disconnect?
Revoke the token in your dashboard. It stops working immediately, and the log keeps a record of what it did.
Ready to put your assistant to work?
Your plan is the context. Your assistant helps. You approve.
