Is Polsia legit? A dated Polsia review: pricing, fees, refunds and Reddit
Is Polsia legit? Yes, it is a real company with a named founder. This sourced Polsia review covers its credit pricing, the 3% fee on customer payments, the refund terms, what Trustpilot shows, how to read Polsia Reddit threads, and who it suits. Written by a competitor, facts only.
By Dapols ·
The short answer: Polsia is legit in the sense that matters first: it is a real company with a public founder, Ben Cera, named as founder and CEO on its own homepage (polsia.com). Whether it is right for you depends on its terms, which are worth reading before you pay: monthly task credits, a 3% platform fee on customer payments received through it, a 20% fee on ad spend, no refund for the current period when you cancel or change a plan, and software that can run on its own for up to 5 days (Polsia terms and its app, read 29 September 2026).
Disclosure first: Dapols competes with Polsia. This review sticks to facts Polsia publishes about itself, plus the figures Trustpilot displays, each with a link and the date we read it. We quote no reviews and make no claims about Polsia's results. Polsia's site is a JavaScript app, so where a fact comes from its app screens rather than a public page, we say so. What Polsia is
Polsia's homepage describes it as "an autonomous AI system that plans, codes, and markets your company 24/7", and it is pitched at founders: "Polsia is your first employee" and "the solo founder's standing army" (polsia.com). The idea is that the software builds, hosts and runs a new business for you.
Is Polsia legit?
Three separate questions hide inside "is Polsia legit":
- Is it a real company? Yes. Its homepage structured data names Ben Cera as founder and CEO, and it publishes terms of service at polsia.com/terms.
- Are the terms clear? The key terms are published, and we summarise them below with links. The ones that surprise people most are the 3% fee on customer payments and the no-refund line for the current period.
- Is it right for you? That depends on whether you are starting a new company and want software to run it, or already run a business. See "Who Polsia is good for" below.
On Trustpilot, Polsia's profile displayed a TrustScore of 3.3 out of 5 from 316 reviews on 29 September 2026. Read the reviews there yourself; we do not summarise a competitor's reviews.
Polsia pricing
Polsia is paid in monthly task credits. The upgrade selector inside its app lists 5 credits included, then add-on tiers from 15 credits (+$19 a month) up to 1,000 credits (+$999 a month), with 25, 50, 100, 200 and 500 credit tiers in between (read 29 September 2026). Base plan prices load only for a signed-in account, so we cannot quote them. Polsia's help centre previously listed monthly plans named Standard, Pro and Max; we could not re-read those pages on 29 September, so we do not quote their figures. Check Polsia's current pricing in its app before you buy.
The 3% payment fee and the 20% ad fee
Polsia's terms say it "charges a platform fee (currently 3%) on all customer payments received through the Services": a $100 customer payment leaves $97 credited to your balance, and Stripe's processing fees apply on top. The terms add that Polsia "may adjust the fee rate prospectively with notice", and that payouts are subject to a settlement period, currently 31 days (terms).
Advertising carries a separate fee. The terms describe "a platform fee (currently 20%)" applied to ad spend and included in the credits deducted for your daily ad budget (terms). That is a fee on ad spend, not a share of your revenue.
Refunds
When you cancel or change a plan, Polsia's app says "No refund for the current period." Its terms call advertising spend already committed to ad platforms non-refundable, and platform fees on delivered ad spend non-refundable too (terms). We could not re-read Polsia's help-centre refund page on 29 September, so we do not quote it.
How autonomous it is
Autonomy is the point of the product. In the app, Auto Mode is described as "Polsia works nonstop. You choose how long", with durations from 1 hour up to 5 days. Polsia's terms also say you are responsible for "reviewing and approving publishing of Your Outputs" and for supervising actions performed through the service (terms). In other words, the software can act on its own, and responsibility for what it publishes stays with you.
Can you take your business with you?
Polsia hosts and runs the business. Its dashboard has a "Download Code" option that produces a ZIP or TAR.GZ, and a GitHub export feature that the app says some plans do not include (read 29 September 2026).
Polsia on Reddit
People discuss Polsia on Reddit and other forums, often under titles like "is Polsia legit" or "Polsia review". We do not summarise those threads, because anecdotes are hard to verify and we are not a neutral party. If you read them, a few habits help:
- Weigh posts that name a specific task, date and outcome over general impressions, in either direction.
- Check the date. Pricing and features change; a thread from months ago may describe a different product.
- Compare any claim about fees or refunds against Polsia's terms, which are the version that applies to you.
Who Polsia is good for
Polsia is a reasonable fit if:
- you are starting a new company and want software to build, host and market it,
- you are comfortable with it working on its own for hours or days at a time, and you will review what it publishes,
- you prefer paying in monthly credits that scale with how much you use it,
- and the 3% fee on customer payments is acceptable at your expected revenue.
It is a weaker fit if you already run a business with its own website, payment provider and customers, if you want every action approved before it happens, or if you need a refund window.
The alternative for an existing business
Dapols is built for that second case. It is an AI consultant sold as software for businesses that already exist: answer seven questions and it maps where AI saves you time, costs the tools at your budget and gives you a 90-day plan with setup steps. It costs $99 once, with an optional $29 a month to keep it current, a 7-day refund, no share of your revenue, and a person approving everything that is sent, bought or published. It does not run your company for you.
The side-by-side table, with every source, is at Dapols vs Polsia, and other options are listed on Polsia alternatives.
