What AI does well
AI can give you a week of post ideas from your product list, rewrite one idea for different platforms and shorten a long paragraph into a good first line. It is a quick way to get past a blank page.
What it cannot do
AI does not know what happened in your shop today. It cannot take the photo that makes someone stop scrolling. Posts that read as generic get ignored. Claims about prices, dates or results need a human check.
A routine that works
Once a week, write a few notes about what happened. Ask AI for drafts in your tone. Pick the best, rewrite a line so it sounds like you, add a real photo and post it yourself. Keep a record of what is true so the drafts do not drift.
A short checklist before you post
Is it true? Check names, prices, dates and anything you promise. Does it have your own photo, or at least something real from your week? Would a regular customer recognise your voice? Is there a clear next step, such as a link or a time to visit? Did you remove filler like empty hype words? Read it once on a phone screen, because that is where most people will see it. If you used AI for an image of a real product, say so or use a real photo instead. Keep a note of which posts get replies.
AI tools worth a look for the draft
AI tools change often. Check each vendor's pricing page before you pay.
Some tool links are affiliate links. A verdict never depends on one.
